F/B Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • In the absence of HOD, make sure all the hotel activities and operation is smooth.
  • Supervise waiters and interns.
  • Always greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Assist guest while seating.
  • Ensure guests are serviced within specified time.
  • Good knowledge of the menu and presentation standards.
  • Speak with guests and staff using clear and professional language and answer phone calls using appropriate telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to answer any questions regarding the menu and assist with menu selections.
  • Apply service techniques correctly and serve Food & Beverage items with enthusiasm.
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
  • Record transactions/ orders in Point of Sales systems at the time of order.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait and product availability.
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Take feedback from guests to ensure satisfaction with the meal and service.
  • Responsible for clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to the designated area.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc. throughout the shift.
  • Review K.O.T ensuring accurate and timely preparations for order requirements.
  • Present accurate final bill to guest and process payment.
  • Perform shift closing on the Point of Sales terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements.
  • Ensure that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house areas.
  • Ensure that hotel brand standards and SOP’s are consistently implemented.
  • Complete the daily responsibilities that are set for each individual shift.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Preferably BHM with 4-5 years’ experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • In absence of Executive Chef, conducts shift briefings to team to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known.
  • Applies organization skills for miss end place.
  • Assists the Executive Chef in developing popular menus offering guests value for money.
  • Assists the Executive Chef in determining the minimum and maximum stocks of all food, material and equipment.
  • Assists the Executive Chef in setting standards of all food and equipment purchases in accordance with hotel guidelines.
  • To prepare, cook and serve any food delegated as your responsibility ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained and that agreed standards for food preparation and presentation are met at all times.
  • Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.
  • Provides direction to the Kitchen stewards, interns, including Commis I, II and III.
  • Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information.
  • Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships.
  • Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled.

  • Prepare, design and present a variety of new desserts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
  • Responsible for coordinating internally with the sales & marketing team.
  • Generating reports, preparing proposals, collections details, coordinating with clients.
  • Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, banquet event orders).
  • Generate group and/or corporate leads through internet prospecting, networking, and telemarketing.
  • Assist sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate meetings, events and any appointments.
  • Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings.
