Associate Director of Sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Supervises Sales managers.
  • Determines annual and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and projecting expected sales volumes and profit.
  • Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
  • Creating reports on sales performance.
  • Update action plans and financial objectives.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
  • Attend all department meetings, hotel meetings and sales events as necessary.
  • Achieving sales growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Analysing sales statistics/ trends.
  • Able to provide trainings and lead Sales team.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Proven sales experience meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Previous experience of 4-5 years in a senior role in Hospitality.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and management.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Accountant

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and managing a petty cash and small cash payments.
  • Making sure that the suppliers and vendors are paid on time for a smooth operation.
  • Reconciling party wise payment, purchase & bank accounts, sales, settlement, check in hand and credit card.
  • Posting salary on a monthly basis.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Visiting tax office for submission of report/payment and answering queries asked by official.
  • Assist with procurement process including purchase & storekeeping.
  • Guiding and Supervising accounts assistant and purchase assistant on a regular basis.
  • To handle ‘’in house cashiering’’ process.
  • Preparing & reconciling cashiering report.
  • Posting of paid out ledger.
  • Preparing of foreign exchange report that needs to be submitted to NRB.
  • Recording of foreign exchange denomination.
  • Proper filing of bank deposit slips.
  • Collecting sales contract and filing them properly making sure that the sales contracts are signed by authorized person.
  • Creating company profile.
  • Preparing credit aging report.
  • Making sure that account balance are checked to eliminate any discrepancies.
  • Reporting chief accountant on a daily basis regarding accounts receivable matter and issues.
  • Dealing with business partner for better coordination.
  • Helping internal auditors during quarterly internal audit.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Assisting Chief Accountant to produce accounts receivable report.
  • Provide input into department goal setting process.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Minimum Masters level.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position in star/ reputed hotels preferred.
  • A good team player and ability to work with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to handle pressure and work during odd hours.
  • Positive and pleasant attitude.
